Spyder’s command line options include the following:
Show this help message and exit
Run a new Spyder instance, even if single instance mode is enabled
Reset Spyder settings file to the defaults
Remove all configuration files and reset to defaults!
Optimize Spyder bytecode (may require administrative privileges)
Set the default working directory
Hide parent console window (Windows)
(Deprecated) Does nothing, now the default behavior
Execute the Internal Console in separate thread from the application
Profile mode (internal test, not related to Python profiling)
String to show in the window title, to identify the Spyder instance
Path that contains an Spyder project to open on startup
